CANBERRA, Australia (27 August 2019) – Manila FAME, the premier design and lifestyle event in the Philippines, will be held on 17-19 October at the World Trade Center Metro Manila. Organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) of the Philippines Department of Trade and Industry, Manila FAME is a showcase of Filipino craftsmanship and ingenuity and a sourcing destination of finely selected Philippine made products for the global market.
In its October 2019 edition, Manila FAME will expand its product line-up to include Beauty and Wellness sector where products made from organic to eco-friendly materials will be part of the showcase. This year’s expo will also launch the Green Pavilion to showcase products of FAME exhibitors and up and coming manufacturers that are Green and Sustainable.
Philippine Ambassador to Australia H.E. Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega said, “I was informed by CITEM that Australia is one of the top visiting countries to Manila FAME held twice a year in Manila. CITEM has been receiving a lot of interest from Australian buyers especially in the home décor and gift sectors. There is plenty of opportunities for Australian buyers who would like to do business with small and medium enterprises and artisans.”
Participation in Manila FAME may be done four ways namely, as trade buyer, exhibitor, marketing agent or as journalist.
