17 May 2024, PERTH – The Embassy of the Philippines in Canberra successfully conducted the mobile consular mission in Perth, Western Australia from 06 to 10 May 2024. A total of 685 services were provided during the mission.

The mobile consular team in Perth processed 335 passport applications and 86 civil registry/notarial documents, and administered the oath of allegiance of 123 Filipinos, including 18 minor children dependents, who reacquired their Filipino citizenship. A total of 141 Filipinos, including those who recently reacquired their citizenship, registered as an Overseas Voter allowing them to vote for Senators and Party List in the 2025 National Elections.

The Embassy team was composed of Consul General Aian Caringal, Ms. Norain Sampao, Mr. Jessie Lucas, Ms. Catherine Perez, Ms. Loreen Bastan and Migrant Workers Office OIC Oscar David. The team was supported by Perth’s Filipino community leaders and volunteers.

The Philippine Embassy conducts mobile consular missions to Perth, Brisbane and Darwin at least once every year. - END
