20 December 2022 - Philippine Honorary Consul General in Vanuatu Mr. Florentino “Bong” Serrano and Mrs. Marilyn Serrano graced the 2022 Vanuatu Pinoy Basketball Association Tournament which was held in Korman Stadium, Port Vila last 18 December 2022. The Black Team was declared this year’s champion out of the four teams that participated in the tournament.

The Philippine Consulate General in Port Vila has been a constant supporter of the annual basketball tournament for 11 years now. Aside from promoting camaraderie and sportsmanship among members of the Filipino Community, the annual basketball tournament also promotes the love for sports in Vanuatu and becomes a venue for Filipinos and Ni-Vanuatus to gather and celebrate friendship and the spirit of community. -END-
