Payment is not required to secure an appointment. The National Bureau of Investigation Clearance Form (NBI Form No. 5) is free and available at any Philippine Embassy/Consulate.
Note - The Philippine Embassy in Canberra only provides the NBI form, assists with the fingerprinting, and a Consular Official signs the form. The Embassy does not process nor issue the actual NBI clearance.
NBI Fingerprinting Service for New Applications for NBI Clearance (renewal of NBI Clearance issued in 2013 or earlier are also treated as New Applications)
Personal appearance at the Embassy is required for fingerprinting service for new applications for NBI Clearances. The Philippine Embassy in Canberra provides the NBI Form, and conducts fingerprinting for the NBI Form. The Embassy does not issue the actual NBI clearance.
